There are two important differences:
With a parachute, you exit an airplane and, after almost a minute of free fall, it opens. With a paraglider, we take off from a mountain with the wing open.
Another difference is that the parachute is smaller and is used only for gliding. With a paraglider, you can climb and extend your flight much further, both in distance and time.
When pilots know and follow all protocols, it’s 100% safe. With Vuela México, you’re in the best hands.
In most places in Mexico, it’s possible to do it year-round, but the types of flights and landscapes vary, and the schedules vary with the seasons.
With Vuela México you can fly from $1,700 MXN per person.
The cost of a paraglider is usually in euros or dollars, as the factories are mainly located in Europe, Asia, or Brazil. Prices range from $2,500 and up.
